Pathfinder Launches Campaign To Support Our Services During COVID19

The UK military and NHS have often worked together over the years, including NHS Reservists working with Forces’ medical teams on frontline field hospitals in Afghanistan, to aftercare programmes for military service leavers.

Now in this time of major crisis, the military and NHS have once again joined in unity across a number of fronts, including military drivers supplying frontline NHS workers with face masks and protective equipment to establishing the opening of NHS Nightingale – a new temporary hospital facility based on the ExCel site in London aimed at coping with extra demand for patients at the peak of this outbreak.

Now Pathfinder International is launching our own campaign as a mark of respect to the efforts of ALL of our services – Armed and Emergency, entitled “SOS – Support Our Services”.

Armed Forces Begins Work With NHS For COVID19

The Armed Forces have started their support work with the NHS in the war against COVID19.

Fifty British Army personnel have begun distributing supplies to NHS staff who are currently working against the disease.

Soldiers have been supplying personal protective equipment (PPE) which includes face masks, protective glasses, plastic gloves and aprons.

Armed Forces Day Main Event Scarborough Postponed

“It is with regret that we advise you that Scarborough Borough Council and its partners will be unable to host the Armed Forces Day National Event scheduled to take place on 27 June 2020. 
 
We are hoping to reschedule the event and will provide further updates in due course. 

The Invictus Games The Hague 2020 Has Been Rescheduled

In light of the Coronavirus Covid-19 pandemic, the Board of the Invictus Games The Hague 2020, along with the Invictus Games Foundation, are forced to conclude that organising the Invictus Games The Hague 2020, presented by Jaguar Land Rover, can no longer take place as planned from 9 to 16 May 2020.
