COUNTER, CURBSIDE, or DELIVERY
Just CALL (864) 235-7922
Friends,
We here at Horizon believe deeply in the healing power of music, and that’s ALL kinds of music, chief. The DRIVE-BY TRUCKERS are just as good for what ails you as SONNY ROLLINS. You can find solace in JOHNNY CASH and JOHNNY ROTTEN, BOB DYLAN and BOB MARLEY, KEITH JARRETT and KEITH RICHARDS.
SO, to perhaps give you some solace in these challenging times, we’ve created a list of suggested musical comfort food it’s just an idea list: click HERE to peruse. Aural band-aids for our souls, if you will. These titles are all in-stock now on LP or CD, and we’d like to remind you that WE DELIVER, and that means curbside pickup or right to your door. We’re open (for now, with all expected precautions) from 11am-6pm Monday-Saturday, and 11am-5pm on Sunday; give us a call at 864-235-7922 and let us know what you’re lookin’ for, off the list, from our picks below or ask us to look for yer inquiry from our huge in house stock of CDs and VINYL and if we have it, we’ll get it to you! Amazon might not be filling your sound prescriptions right now, but your local indie record store has the medicine you need.
WE at Horizon Records also continue to urge all to support local indie businesses where and how you can. Sometimes even a small purchase or order and a kind word can mean so much to an independent local biz that is grappling with survival day to day (as we all are!) And as part of the music biz, we also encourage everyone to consider visiting your favorite artists websites and support by ordering some merch (ok, so DO buy the physical music from us 😉) such as T-shirts, hats, posters etc.
Don't forget our pals at THE BOHEMIAN CAFE! They are still cranking out delicious food for take-out, curbside and delivery: 864-233-0006. Support your neighborhood cafe and enjoy a great meal!
Stay safe, but keep on rockin, boppin, funkin, twanging, and symphonizing. And STAY IN TOUCH.

WAXAHATCHEE
Saint Cloud
ltd color vinyl LP & CD
Written immediately in the period following her decision to get sober, the album is an unflinching self-examination. This raw, exposed narrative terrain is aided by a shift in sonic arrangements as well. While her last two records featured the kind of big guitars, well-honed noise, and battering sounds that characterized her Philadelphia scene and strongly influenced a burgeoning new class of singer-songwriters, Saint Cloud strips back those layers to create space for Crutchfield's voice and lyrics. The result is a classic Americana sound with modern touches befitting an artist who has emerged as one of the signature storytellers of her time.

LILLY HIATT
Walking Proof
color vinyl LP & CD
Walking Proof, Hiatt’s fourth and most probing collection to date, walks the line between Hiatt’s rough, rock and roll exterior and her tender, country roots. What emerges is a newfound maturity in Hiatt’s writing, an abiding sense of calm in the face of chaos as she learns that sometimes, you have to let go in order to get what you want most. She recorded at Lincoln Parish’s Nashville studio in May with her band and and guests; Amanda Shires and Aaron Lee Tasjan along with a guest appearance from her father, legendary songwriter John Hiatt, who joins his daughter on record for the first time here.

BON IVER
Blood Bank 10th Anniversary
color vinyl EP & CD
Bon Iver's Blood Bank EP was originally released in early 2009, hot on the heels of the beloved album 'For Emma, Forever Ago'. The EP was a harbinger of a new sound for Bon Iver: a movement away from the acoustic guitar-led instrumentation of the debut and the beginning of an exploration into the experimental sounds that have evolved but defined Bon Iver ever since. The reissue of this seminal EP is coupled with brand new live renditions of all the EP tracks.
