Originally built in 1926, The Westlawn Inn served as a guesthouse for bayside vacationers for the last century. Now, we would like to welcome you as OUR guest for fine dining and fabulous music.

Our Adaptation in Dining
 
In preparing to create this newsletter, we thought of words that seem to suit what is happening. A tall order - because the situation seems to defy description. How many of us has said, "It's surreal," or "I've never seen anything like this." But what IS familiar is the process of adapting, evolving, adjusting. And so, we are. And, missing our music nights, the word "Adaptation" fits there too. 

Like other businesses, we are simply hoping to hold on while this runs its course. No one knows how long we'll be avoiding face-to-face, or really what next week will bring. One thing we know is that we have always hoped to do more than sell food. We provide a dining experience - including music and good friends - as well as the delicious food.

But now it is the food that will carry us through. We are offering Carryout/Curbside sales on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings, from 4:00 to 8:00. The menu will vary daily, depending on what we can offer, but you can be sure we will maintain our standards of scrumptious food.

Call 410-257-0001, Thurs -Fri -Sat from 4 to 8 to speak to us personally to place your order. That way, we can verify the specifics and clarify an appropriate time for pick up. We can bring it curbside if you prefer, or you can come to the bar, now our pick-up counter.
 

The menu for Thursday, 3/26 is as follows:

Starters
Fried Red Tomato 10
Spiced crab meat, mustard sauce, and crispy bacon pieces
Crab “Stuffed” Portobello 10
Roasted Portobello topped with a sauté of crab, spinach, and cherry tomato and finished with Parmesan
Grilled Artichoke Hearts 8
Served with Parmesan peppercorn dipping sauce

Soups and Salads
Cream of Crab Soup 8
With a hint of sherry and Tabasco oil
Westlawn Salad 8
Cherry tomatoes, feta cheese, dried cherries, candied pecans, orange thyme vinaigrette
Classic Caesar Salad 8
Fluted Parmesan bowl with a creamy Caesar dressing and house made croutons

Grilled Flank Steak 25

The Dining Experience

The Guest Quarters

Lodging is considered an Essential Business at this time. Consider booking a night there for somewhere else to keep your distance - and order a TO-GO meal from The Westlawn Inn to make it a double escape! The rooms are clean and spacious and our suites have full kitchens and living rooms too. In addition, we are adjusting our cancellation policy while we deal with this crisis. Gift Cards

We encourage you to consider the purchase of a Gift Card for the restaurant or a gift certificate to the Guest Quarters. Think ahead to when this is over - and it WILL be over. You'll simply have paid ahead for some future fun, and will have that to look forward to! OR to be used as actual gifts for birthdays, anniversaries and the like. Call when we're open (Th-F-Sat 4 to 8) and we can process your purchase over the phone. Or, if you come for a carryout order, buy one then! Either way, you will have our gratitude for supporting us when we need you most.
