TASTE THE WILD
- presents -

The Woodland Journal
Rose and I hope that you are all managing to stay safe and healthy at this difficult time. We have obviously made the very sad decision to suspend courses until it is safe for people to venture out again and, if you have a course booked in April, we will be in touch with you personally with regards to your options. As the situation develops we will make decisions on future upcoming courses. There will be new dates for existing courses and some additional dates being added to our website in the near future.

We have a new member of the Taste the wild team. His name is Paul and he will be coordinating the rebooking process over the next few weeks. You can contact him through
info@tastethewild.co.uk

Over the last 15 years we have met lots of wonderful people on our courses and we value your support very much. So, in addition to pointing you in the direction of some of our archive material we want to be creative and so we are planning a series of foraging videos, recipes and plant identification notes to hopefully keep you amused, informed and inspired. We are going to begin with a series about how you can forage in your garden, which will focus on how to use common garden weeds in delicious recipes. Keep your eyes on your inbox for our emails over the next few weeks to enjoy a bit of garden foraging!

Thanks again for all your support.
Stay safe and healthy, Chris, Rose and Paul

GORSE FLOWER CAKE
Blog Archive

This is a Victoria sponge made extra special by the addition of fruit, flowers and cream cheese. A decadent indulgence for a special occasion. Gorse flowers have a fragrant, almost tropical taste that really complements the acidity of rhubarb.

BAX BOTANICS
Alcohol Free Spirits

Chris and Rose have spent decades cooking and experimenting with botanical flavours. They are now using all their skills and experience to distil secret recipes of herbs, roots, berries and flowers and create alcohol-free spirits with layers of beautifully complex flavours and created Bax Botanics.
