WELCOME TO APRIL 4-5, 2020!
BREAKING NEWS FROM THE FLORIDA CONFERENCE: Things continue to be in flux and we are all asked to adapt! We know that the Guidelines for Gathering continue to get pushed further out from now to at least the end of April! Our Governor has signed an executive order encouraging us to stay in our homes and leave only for essential things only! I really encourage you to keep up with daily news updates! This means that we will continue to offer as great an ONLINE EXPERIENCE as we possibly can and hope that we can continue to make it better for you and lots of others! Our Bishop and Conference are regularly letting us know what they are doing! Thank you for keeping all of "US!" in your daily prayers!
HI THERE! WWWWWWWWWEEEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLL...it's been quite the week! I hope this E-NOTE finds you well and experiencing the "Joy of The Lord!" Since I do not get to actually see you this weekend, it is extra important to me to visit with you in THE UPPER ROOM every morning! I thought of all that stuff when I headed there this morning when we were reminded that "You will seek the Lord your God, and you will find him if and when you search after him with all your heart and soul!" (Deuteronomy 4:29) I don't know about you but I have really been looking extra hard for God in each and every day! WHY?! GREAT QUESTION! THANKS FOR ASKING! Because every day I am reminded by Jesus that "I am the vine and you are the branches! If you stay joined with me and I stay joined to you, then you will produce lots of fruit! But you cannot do anything without me! (John 15:5) It will take all our heart and soul to stay connected with him in these days! I hope you and yours will join us this weekend at our ONLINE CHURCH and access our WORSHIP VIDEO either on our IRCUMC FACEBOOK PAGE and/or our IRCUMC WEBSITE starting on SATURDAY @ 6PM. You will find some great Music and our next step in our "LIVE LIFE LIVE!" series of Life Lessons! We'll gather ourselves around PHILIPPIANS 4:1, 4-9. and learn how to develop the holy habits that will help us experience the "Joy of The Practice!" I want you to know that I and lots of others are actively praying for you and yours every single day and I am looking for you every morning in THE UPPER ROOM so that we can see, hear and know God and listen to him speak life into our day! I hope you will share this news with your favorite family members, friends and folks so they can encounter Jesus just like yourself! EASTER WEEK 2020: WWWWWWWEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLLLL...we've never experienced this before! Because of the National Guidelines in place and the Florida Executive Order to stay home, all our Easter Week Worship Experiences will be ONLINE ONLY! Please join us THURSDAY for our Holy Thursday ONLINE Experience! There will be special music, message and the invitation to remember Jesus through Communion! HOW ARE WE GOING TO DO THAT?! GREAT QUESTION! THANKS FOR ASKING! I will invite you to have some bread and beverage there with you! I'm bringing mine! We will ask God to bless as we gather today ONLINE and bless whatever we have with us! What makes something holy is God's touch on whatever we give him! I hope you join right in! TTTTTHHHHHHEEEEENNNNNNNNN...on FRIDAY we will remember the day that turned the world upside down as Jesus gave the great gift ever given! Again, you will find music and message that will bring us all together! Finally...EASTER WEEKEND will be very special for all of us and each of us! All the videos will be done in our homes! PRACTICING OUR GENEROSITY: Despite not passing the Offering Plates at our preferred "Time Zone!" there are still ways for you and I to continue supporting the Church with our generosity! You and I can always go to the IRCUMC WEBSITE and discover how easy it is to give online! (This is the way I do it!" or we can always place our gift in an envelope addressed to 1355 Cheney Highway, Titusville, Florida, 32780 into the mail at our first opportunity! Your giving and my giving is absolutely vital to our ability to serve God's Purpose within our Congregation, on our Campus and into our Community! CAMPUS ACTIVITIES: Following the guidelines given prohibiting our gathering together in groups bigger than 10 people, there are NO planned activities happening on our Campus during this time! We really encourage you to stay connected with others through calls, cards, texts, E-Mails and any other ways that you can imagine! Find out what works for you and your circle of friends! We eagerly await the "All Clear!" to resume our group gatherings!

WHY DO WE PRAY?! Great question! Thanks for asking! On THURSDAY (4/1) in THE UPPER ROOM we heard that "Don't be afraid! I'm right here with you! Don't despair, I'm your God! I will strengthen and help help you! I will support you with my own strength!" (1 Kings 18:44) God speaks into our very real scary times to let us know that he is with us and will do whatever it takes to help us through each and every day! This is why we pray!
WHY DO WE GIVE?! Great question! Thanks for asking! On SATURDAY (4/4)) in THE UPPER ROOM we heard God reminds us that "When anyone becomes a Christian, they become a brand-new person inside and out! They're not the same! Their new life begins!" (2 Corinthians 5:17) Today is a chance to use our brand-new life to do something that will help others see, hear and know Jesus in a brand-new way! Thanks for using your time, talent, treasure and things to make our Campus, Congregation and Community a better and brighter place to live, give and grow! This is why we give!
NEW EASTER OFFERING: We are switching directions on our 2020 Easter Offering! Over the last few years we have provided outfits of new clothes for Elementary School Students but with so much uncertainty about if and when our schools will resume classes making it very difficult to store and distribute these clothes! SSSSSSSSSSOOOOOOOOOOOOO...we are inviting all of us to look right around us right where we live! Who within just a few houses is living alone, who is elderly, who could use a little bit of practical help! Are there neighbors who don't feel comfortable or confident to leave their home to get some of life's essentials! One of the posts on our BIG SIGN says, "No one can everyone, but everyone can help someone! Find your someone today!" This is our chance to be "Jesus-With-Skin-On!"
SERVING OPPORTUNITIES: Because of the gathering guidelines in place and our desire to guard our volunteers...we have no plans in place for any on-campus serving opportunities! When the Country, Community, and Conference give us the "All Clear!" to gather again, we will serve God's Purpose together!
WHAT NOW?! Please take care of you and yours and then check on your friends and neighbors! Find a way to communicate hope with your Small Group, Serving TEAM, Sunday School Class! Encourage one another! Pray for one another! Love one another! Serve one another! WWWEEELLLLLL...you get the idea! Thanks for living so others can see, hear and know Jesus! You are "Jesus-With-Skin-On!"
