That's a Good Rule of Thumb!
Two weeks in... how are we doing?
Not going to lie, I'm just a little stir crazy. A little. I was pretty vigilant through the first week, keeping everyone on routine - get up, get dressed, do chores, do school, get outside. We took a lovely break on Sunday and got out to walk/ride a trail (before they closed down). But finally, on Wednesday, I crashed. It was a cool, rainy day. I declared it a "do whatever, pajama day" and that is what we did. The kids watched movies and played video games and leggos. No school required.
We got right back to the grindstone the next day, but I found myself wondering, how are we going to get through two more weeks of this (and that's an optimistic outlook!)?
I believe nothing is wasted in God's kingdom, even in this season of uncertainty and stillness. As I look for things to clean out around the house, I feel a stirring in my heart and know He is spring cleaning too.
Good things will come out of this. I pray you are finding contentment in your confinement!
