Dear Friends,

We started writing this letter several times, but found ourselves constantly interrupted by a new piece of information, a new decision, or a new donation of food. Like you, we are forced to work one day at a time, not knowing the trajectory of this crisis.  On top of that, we were at a loss for the right words for this moment.  After considering a note full of bullet points listing all the amazing accomplishments of Food Link over the last two weeks, we decided just to keep it simple. We want to say: Thank You!

Thank you for your kind and generous donations of time, food, and money.  We have been overwhelmed by your support. You are a collective of extraordinary people working to ensure that all people receive enough food.  No doubt, as this crisis unfolds, we will begin to see even more people in our community who will need food support. These might be your neighbors or family members who have previously not needed it.  We are open and operating, and we will be there for them too.  We remain steadfast in our commitment to delivering fresh, healthy food to those in need for the length of this event, and beyond it.

Again, we say thank you for your support, hard work, and kindness. We know that a community as strong as ours will navigate these challenging times, and come out stronger for having worked together to put the needs of the most vulnerable people first.

Be well, and we promise to fill your inboxes and mailboxes soon with a long list of accomplishments made possible by your support.

In gratitude,

DeAnne Dupont                          Julie Kremer
