Shabaan is a month of high excellence and is dedicated to the Leader of the Prophets (saaw). He used to keep fasts during this month and join it with the month of Ramadhan. We pray to Almighty Allah that you and your families are safe and sound in the current challenging times where schools have been closed and Madressa classes have been suspended in our centres due to Coronavirus.

We believe that keeping children involved in continuous learning is very important these days. As most of the centres have stopped routine programs including Thursday eve, Friday congregational prayers, and Madressa classes, it is more important to arrange regular lectures, lessons and other activities for spiritual uplift and continuous learning.
 

Our beloved brother Dr Syed Habib Haider Zaidi, born in 1943 in Lucknow, British India died yesterday. He graduated from Daw Medical College Karachi, Pakistan and came to England in 1959. He lived all his life in Southend, Essex. Survived by his wife and four children and three grandchildren.
He established and held Majalis of Imam Hussain a.s for the past 45 years. He was  holding Majalis on the first Sunday of each  Muharram since the early 1970's.
Dr. Habib Zaidi tragically caught Covid-19 from a patient and passed away the afternoon of 25th March 2020. Such a wonderful, caring Azadaar and such a tragedy for our community. A loving father. grandfather, husband and brother left this world for his eternal journey at age of 78. May his soul rest in peace ba haq e Masoomeen (a.s)
