Responding to the Covid-19 pandemic
As the world grapples with the novel coronavirus Covid-19 pandemic, India is now in a lockdown mode for effective implementation of social distancing in a bid to slow the spread of the outbreak.
Around mid-March, IISER Pune began to put in place pre-emptive measures against Covid-19 in view of the well-being of everyone on campus. Classes were suspended and all events postponed. Students residing in campus hostels were asked to head to their homes before Covid-19 spread further. Employees have since been working from home and all campus residents adhering to social distancing norms.
Impact salutes healthcare professionals, essential service providers, and government officials working at the frontline against this pandemic.
We urge you to follow authentic sources of information, such as MoHFW and WHO, on the pandemic.
Stay safe, stay inspired!
