Stay Wild, Stay Healthy

We know you've been inundated with emails about the coronavirus Covid-19 and with fast changing information, it's hard to make plans to enjoy the beautiful spring sunshine.

The Wild Exmouth team are here to help you with a series of wellbeing and nature-related activities to focus on wildlife, health and serenity.

Please remember to maintain a 2-metre distance from other people and regularly wash your hands when following any activities.

Stay safe, stay well.

With our routines disrupted, it can become difficult to factor in exercise.  We've been looking for some great ways to focus body and mind.  Debs is a big fan of yoga and has spent some time finding a great introduction for you to try at home - you can also take it out into the garden and enjoy the sunshine.  Click on the image for a YouTube video on how to perform a  Sun Salutation.
Yoga not your thing?

Check out this article from the Independent on online workout classes for all the family.

If you're looking for something for someone with limited mobility, check out Move It or Lose It, who offer free online training programmes aimed at older people.
Where's Huxley Hedgehog?

Have you been missing our updates on our hedgehog mascot, Huxley? Never fear, spring is here and our prickly friends are starting to wake. Sleepy and hungry, you may see a hog in your garden at night, or there may be one tucked away for a nap during the day. You could make a hedgehog house and give a hog a home.

Please share photos of how you are helping and connecting with wildlife in your gardens, patios and outdoor spaces and make your pledge so we can put you on the map! Whether you’re building a bug mansion, making a hole in your fence for hedgehogs, or putting water out for the birds, every little action helps to take us a step closer to a Nature Friendly Exmouth.
Please forward this email to someone you think may enjoy it.

Don't forget to check out our Facebook page and our Twitter account, (and sign up to this newsletter, if you haven't already!)  for regular activities, fun, facts and information to keep you enjoying nature and feeling good.
