LENTEN ORGAN RECITAL
Wednesday | April 1 | 12:00PM
In light of the Governor’s “stay at home” order, I will not be able to live-stream my organ recital from the NCC sanctuary on April 1st. However, I still want to provide a Lenten musical experience for our congregation on that date.
I will post a “virtual” recital on the NCC Youtube Channel at 12:00PM (noon) on Wednesday, April 1st. This will consist of several recordings I’ve made while a graduate student at IU.
I hope to offer a celebratory, in-person recital at NCC this summer after this crisis has passed.

PRAYER CONCERNS
Out of respect for privacy, we will not be announcing prayer concerns for folks on YouTube. However, you are encouraged to send those to Rev. Tonja at tonja@northchristianchurch.com, so that she, the elders, and others can be in prayer for you and those you love.

COMMUNITY HELP
The Ecumenical Assembly of Bartholomew County (Love Chapel) is responding to the novel coronavirus outbreak through a variety of actions. Operational changes have been implemented to ensure continued service during the pandemic. Heightened cleaning procedures have been applied throughout all Love Chapel facilities. The food pantry has instituted social distancing protocol. Clients can pick up food from the pantry without physically interacting with each other, volunteers and staff.
Many have asked how they can best provide support. Financial contribution is the most direct and beneficial way to help the Love Chapel meet the needs of the community during the crisis.
If you are able to help, you can make a donation in two ways:

BROADER HELP
Orders for standard/disposable masks are on long back-orders, due to both demand and supply chain issues. Hospitals across the country are facing serious shortages and are unable to provide adequate protection to staff.
So how can you help? You can donate handmade fabric masks. Learn how to make them and donate at this site.

FINANCIAL GIFTS
Remember to support the church with your tithes, offerings, and other donations, even while we are not gathering for worship. Secure methods of donating include sending in your offerings via the US postal service, arranging an ACH transfer from your bank, or using the Givelify app. Use the method that works best for you.
Instructions for using Givelify can be found in the April Inspirer.
