Our life as we know it has taken a dramatic shift into a very different place. We are being asked to isolate for 14 days after a trip or while ill, distance socially and to becomes more conscious of seemingly mundane activities like hand washing. Many of us are not at work, seeing loved ones, or even doing simple things like shopping, visiting, going to dinner, going for drinks or a coffee or to entertainment venues.
Despite these negative experiences, this is also a time to celebrate the joys of being "in the moment", to celebrate the things we take for granted. These can be such simple activities like walking the dog or watching a sunrise or sunset and being grateful for our friends and our partners.
Make time to connect with others ... virtually! Learn new skills, take part in impromptu YouTube fitness classes, learn a new language, try something you always wanted to but "did not have the time".
Although we have provided you with various reputable resources on COVID-19, I think it is
also important that we share ideas and things that we are doing to make life more interesting, to create laughter, to help each other out. So, send us your new creative ideas, crazy memes, YouTube sites, new games with your kids, and family. We will try to share many of them in our Bulletins.
Make this “unprecedented time" a time of innovation. Enjoy the moment. We are in this together.
