Join us LIVE online in an enriching and relevant discussion - with GEN's Executive Director, Kosha Joubert,
and the Education team.

Last weekend we were pleased to launch our series of online learning workshops with an enriching discussion on Weaving Community in Times of Crisis. We welcomed over 30 participants into the live conversation, several joining from EcoVillage Ithaca, and many more tuning in to the recordings later. We were thrilled to see over 7,000 views of the live feed conversation with Sabine Lichtenfels from Tamera, Macaco Tamerice from Damanhur, and Liz Walker from EcoVillage Ithaca.

This coming weekend, 27-29 March, we invite you again to join us online for more inspiration.

Covid19 is showing us, not just how deeply vulnerable our human societies are, but also that we are capable of radical change in our societies. As humanity, we are facing a health crisis, and, for many of us more invisibly, an inequality crisis, a climate crisis and an extinction crisis.
These are painful and frightening times. Many of us fear for ourselves, loved ones, neighbors and communities. Might we also find opportunity in the current pain and adversity?

Join Us

During the conversations this coming weekend we will delve into the question of how we could emerge from this pandemic with a true, deep transformation of our communities, and maybe even our societies.  We will delve into the topic of Regenerative Community Design – Responding to the Planetary Emergency.

Join GEN’s Executive Director, Kosha Joubert, and our Education team for live conversations on the impact and response to the coronavirus in leading ecovillages in North America and Europe as we explore the questions:
What is the role of community in times of global crisis?
What are the hidden opportunities in the crisis?
