O God, you have given us the Good News of your abounding love in your Son Jesus Christ: So fill our hearts with thankfulness that we may rejoice to proclaim the good tidings we have received; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

I will admit, it is difficult to find good tidings to proclaim in the midst of this pandemic. What I have found though is inspiration abounds, especially in our own parish. I have heard stories of people having pizzas delivered to area hospitals for exhausted staff; parishioners dropping off medication for those who cannot leave their homes, and others just calling to check-in with one another. Good tidings and Good News do abound.  We are forever heartened to read these stories of caring and compassion. Now is the time when we have put aside our differences to see Christ in our midst. Let's share our stories with one another. Send them to me and I will keep everyone updated as to the ways in which God is with us.

Sunday Adult forum (via Zoom):  Our topic this week will be the weekly reflection from Presiding Bishop Curry titled "Habits of Grace." As we learn how to adjust our lives given the reality of the coronavirus and the request to do our part to slow its spread by practicing social distancing, I invite you to join me to take a moment to cultivate a ‘habit of grace.’  We will start at 9:15 am, but Todd will have the conference up and running at 9 am so people can work through any login issues before we start.  More information on Bishop Curry's video reflections can be found at

The adult forum can be accessed at the following link:

Please make sure to keep your pledge up to date while the church building is closed. The work of ministry continues in our parish and community.
