GOSPEL REFLECTION & LITANY FOR HEALING: Wednesday, April 1: Tune in Wednesday evening for a Gospel reading, brief sermon, and healing prayers.
Staff meetings look a little different these days, but we're still here for you! The staff meets via Zoom a few times per week to make sure all the bases are covered during this season of digital church. Not pictured but always present... Fr. Bryan, Connie Bradford, Robert Miller, Carlie Boone and Marsha Palmer. (This photo can count as PREPARE or SERVANT in the "Picture This for Lent" photo challenge!)
Announcements
Fr. Bryan and Fr. Chris remind us all that the SACRAMENT OF RECONCILIATION can be scheduled at any time of the year and, during this season, is available by phone or virtual meeting. Take a moment to read about Fr. Chris's personal experience and his encouragement for us to consider this practice, then make an appointment!  READ MORE...

From our CHILDREN'S FORMATION directors, Carlie Boone and Marsha Palmer: Kids, grab a cookie and settle in for a Sunday School Story this Sunday morning! We'll share a video with you about the Season of Lent and get inspired by an awesome (and simple) craft activity! (Look for this in our Sunday morning email.)

This Sunday afternoon, EYC will meet via Zoom for games and a scavenger hunt. Whoever wins the scavenger hunt wins pizza for dinner...delivered right to their doorstep. Zoom info below; contact Julia Golding with any questions: youthformationdirector@gmail.com.

While our Picture This challenge rolls on, we're putting out another call for photos: WHERE I WORSHIP. It has become quite clear that church and faith are about so much more than a building, so we would love to see your personal worship spaces. Whether it's a patio chair, a quiet corner in your home, a hammock, or the kitchen table, show us where you go for worship while St. Luke's is closed. Share with us on social media (#stlukesathome #whereiworship) or email photos to anne@stlukesbr.org. Thanks!

Please click here for details about our ongoing PICTURE THIS FOR LENT photo challenge. Julie Owen shared the photo above on March 25 for TRUTH. "A friend gave me this awesome fabric to make N95 mask covers for her and her colleagues in the ER. The TRUTH of our times is discovering how many folks are acting as super heroes in our world. Surely, healthcare professionals are among them, but so are grocery store clerks and stockers, teachers, government officials, and so many others who are contributing to keep our society going in this fight against an unseen enemy. Also, if you are doing your part by staying at home, you are wearing an invisible cape. This is TRUTH."

To contribute to our OPERATION MASK by sewing masks for patients and healthcare professionals, learn details HERE.

TOP BOX is still delivering healthy and affordable food, and next Saturday, April 4 they'll be at St. Luke's again, using a drive-thru system! Please place your grocery order by Monday, March 30 (click here). They have adapted their procedures to be as safe and sanitary as possible, and remind customers that they source food directly from suppliers. This means that unlike a supermarket where food is being picked over by countless shoppers, Top Box products are only handled by a small team that follows their sanitation guidelines. Questions? Email Anna Foster: anna@topboxfoods.com.
A reminder from our Stewardship Committee...
Please know that our church leaders are doing all they can do to make sure St. Luke’s remains on a firm footing. Although the plate is not being passed from pew to pew, we can still give to God our tithes and offerings.

We encourage all of you to consider an online gift to St. Luke's, or checks may still be mailed to the church office (8833 Goodwood Boulevard 70806). And you can now text your donation! This is a brand new option, and we hope you'll find it quick and easy. Text StLukesBR to 73256 to make a donation to our church. (Standard text message rates do apply.)   We thank you in advance for your financial commitment and support.

Despite everything going on, Gulf Coast Bank's Community Rewards Contest is still happening! Don't forget to vote our school into the top 10... Vote once a day until March 31st!

According to Head of School Connie Bradford, "Our teachers are awesome and Distance Learning is going strong. However, not seeing the children's smiles or getting their hugs just feels wrong!"
