Rebuilding Lives Newsletter   31 March 2020
Trek to the top of Kilimanjaro, without even leaving your home!
This is your chance to set you and your family an imaginative challenge, one that will see you keep active, work as a team and keep spirits up while stuck indoors.

Taking part is simple. On your own or as a family, just complete 128,263 steps over 30 days – that’s the average number of steps you need to take to reach the summit of Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain. You can take your steps in your living room, around the kitchen, in the garden, as part of your daily outdoor exercise, or just on the spot! It’s the perfect way to get some exercise while everyone is having to isolate.

All we ask is that you register for the event by donating £10 to Child Bereavement UK, giving you access to email tips and information on your journey and landmarks on your route, as well as support from our fundraising team who will keep you motivated throughout the challenge. If you want to, you can boost your fundraising by asking family and friends to sponsor you.
Your fundraising will help our bereavement support practitioners to continue supporting bereaved children, young people and families via our Helpline and telephone sessions at this difficult time.

"Me and Daddy are going to take turns to Trek around our garden, but if it was a race I'd get to the top of Kilimanjaro before him!"
