What's happening in March?
National Doctors' Day
Monday, March 30th, is National Doctors' Day! The holiday was approved and signed by President George Bush on October 30th, 1990. Every year, on this day, we have the opportunity to express our gratitude for the physicians of the world. These professionals dedicate their lives to the complex and always advancing work of healthcare. There is no right, or official way to celebrate National Doctors' Day. However, as a grateful citizen, be sure to thank all of the doctors in your community for saving lives and keeping those around you healthy.
Spring is Here!
The first day of Spring was Thursday, March 19th, and will go through Saturday, June 20th! The spring time brings warmer weather, but also increased rainfall. The snow from past storms begins to melt and vegetation will start to grow! Flowers bloom as the days last longer. Some words that are often used to describe spring are: alive, blissful, bright, colorful, enjoyable, flourishing, healthy, lovely, refreshing, thriving, and vibrant. Spring is rightfully titled the inspiring and delightful season as people take advantage of its beauty.
