Go On A Heart / Rainbow / Bear Hunt in the Lakeland Area {With MAP!}
To spread joy while social distancing, people are placing teddy bears, hearts, and rainbows in their windows for others to spot from their cars or while walking the neighborhood. Participating readers have helped us create a map you can use to find bears, hearts, or rainbows in your own neighborhood, or head out for a family drive for your own teddy bear hunt or heart hunt.

Lakeland Regional Health Offers Telehealth Appointments
Starting Monday, March 30, Lakeland Regional Health will begin offering Telehealth Appointments with their Pediatric and Primary Care practices. This means that you will be able to schedule a phone call or video call with your provider and receive care from the convenience and comfort of your own home. Both new and established patients can utilize this service.

Polk County School Lunch Pickup Locations

PCPS will resume providing children with school lunches on Monday, March 30. Our article has been updated - there are now 75 locations across Polk County. Lunches can be picked up between 11am - 1pm from Monday - Friday beginning March 30.
