40 des-contactos surge de Jueves, un libro escrito por Fernando Carabajal en pleno exilio auto impuesto en el 2006, un texto que hoy por hoy podría parecer premonitorio. A partir de este poema, y los entrecruces literarios de donde surgió, Carabajal propone una curaduría digital donde todos los artistas que han sido parte de Arróniz en los últimos dos años vinculen una obra, un boceto o un proceso con una palabra aleatoria escogida por el autor para de esta manera generar una especie de bitácora del encierro colectivo que atravesamos.
La propuesta ha incluido artistas representados y no representados que han expuesto en los muros de Arróniz, generando una conversación plástica diversa, internacional e intergeneracional.
Inauguramos con Jueves, este proyecto curatorial virtual, desarrollado por Fernando Carabajal que nos acompañará el resto de este periodo crítico global.
40 un-contacts arises from Thursday, a book written by Fernando Carabajal in a self-imposed exile in 2006, a text that today might seem premonitory. From this poem, and the literary intersections from which it emerged, Carabajal proposes a digital curatorship where all the artists who have been part of Arróniz in the last two years link a work, a sketch or a process with a random word from the poem, chosen by the author to generate a kind of log of the collective closure that we go through.
The proposal has included represented and unrepresented artists who have exhibited on the Arróniz walls, generating a diverse, international and intergenerational plastic conversation.
We inaugurate with Thursday, this virtual curatorial project, developed by Fernando Carabajal that will accompany us the rest of this global critical period.
La bitácora de 40-descontactos se actualizará diariamente en las redes sociales y sitio web de Arróniz con la participación de cuarenta artistas, mientras la crisis sanitaria global continúa.
