5 More Years!

While Japan openly accepts missionaries and other religious workers to reside and work in the country, there is still a certain degree of stress that comes with the process of filling out the paperwork, submitting it and then waiting for a month to receive the response.

Our 6-year anniversary of arriving in Japan is coming up in May, so it was our time to apply.  We first received a 1-year visa, then a 5-year, and now we applied again for 5 years.

So this is our praise report that we were granted another 5-year stay in Japan!  Once we hit our 10-year anniversary, we'll be able to apply for permanent residency, equivalent to a "green card" in the USA.

Thank you for staying with us on this journey!  May our partnership make much of the name of Jesus, so that He would be exalted as King of Kings and Lord of Lords throughout the country of Japan!

We are thankful for:

  • Faithful ministry partners that make it possible for us to stay in Japan.
  • A 5-star church planting team.
  • Healthy boys
  • Opportunities to live and model a life of discipleship and Christian family in Japan.

We are praying for:

  • Confidence to stand firm in our calling to Japan, even in the face of such uncertain times.
  • That God would give us and other workers a season of reaping the harvest in Japan.
Thank you for praying with us!  We look forward to keeping you up to date!  Please let us know how we can pray for you!
