Managing Stress Part 2 - A Strong Immune System 

 

 

 
Welcome!  For our second topic that will help you stay present and build resilience, I’d like to focus on supporting our immune system in times of stress.

Give your immune system a boost.   When you help your body stay in balance, it will have the building blocks needed to fight off illness.  Better health means having more reserves to manage stressful days.  The fundamentals of support for your immune system include:

*Staying hydrated  *Adequate, restful sleep *Eating a variety of fruits, vegetables *Getting probiotics to support your first line of defense – the gut (food sources or supplements)   *Regular movement and activity for your body

Which of the suggestions listed above may be the most difficult for you?   If you have not been successful in the past, what got in the way? Are there any outside resources or supports available that would help you work on boosting your immune system? What’s the first step?
