Good morning on this the 4th Sunday of Lent. We hope that this email finds you healthy and well and those that you love safe.
There are a few announcements that we think we should share. During these difficult times it is so important that we find time to connect and to pray. In order to facilitate that we are working as a staff to provide some simple ways using technology for us to connect as a parish. Our website will continue to provide a place to communicate information as well as provide ideas. You will see that our homepage at www.churchofchristtheking.org has been re-designed to give you additional information and resources that will help.
1. On Sunday, STARTING TODAY, we will be offering a live streaming mass at 11 AM from within our beautiful Christ the King Church. This will be a stream of a private mass said by Fr. Marcin and also Fr. Brian after he has recuperated. CLICK HERE
2. You will also find a link for daily Mass in Bishop Robert Barron’s Chapel that streams live every morning at 8:15am and can be viewed throughout the day. There’s also a link for the daily readings and some thoughts for the day during this Lenten season from Bishop Barron.
3. We would also like to say a rosary as a parish Monday-Saturday at 12noon on Zoom, a software application that can be easily downloaded to a phone, tablet or computer. You will find a link on the website homepage. You will be able to see your fellow parishioners as we pray together.
We will continue to communicate through email and E blasts as opportunities and information become more available to us.
Let us continue to pray for and support each other during this difficult time. Let us never lose faith and continue to trust in our God loves us more than we can imagine. Let us take courage in knowing that Christ who came to earth to die on a cross, rose from the dead to give us new life and conquer fear and death.
