Due to the recent COVID-19 lock-down requirements, Tenants Victoria has made changes to our services.

Tenants Advice Line is closed

• We have increased our email advice service
• Emails will be answered Monday-Friday 9am-5pm
• All emails are answered by lawyers with specialist knowledge 
  in Victorian laws for rented homes
• Our lawyers will answer as many emails as possible each day
• We try to respond within 5 business days, or sooner
• We thank you for your understanding and patience

Are you having any difficulties to do with your rented home due to the impacts of coronavirus (COVID-19)?
 
We are currently collaborating with other Community Legal Centres, community and homelessness organisations to develop strategies to support tenants in this time of need. Each shared tenant’s experience contributes to a better understanding about how we can help you, and how we can assist all tenants in similar situations.

The state governments are working on measures to ensure that in hardship conditions, tenants receive some relief so that they won’t lose their rented homes. Read the story.
