Marty's Message: A New Normal

Tough times have a way of bringing people closer. I trust this statement will hold true for us here in CPS as for the broader society while we face this COVID-19 situation together. Thank you already for showing your flexibility, creativity and understanding; and especially for keeping the needs of our students first. We talk a lot about our proactive, resourceful, connected and caring culture here in CPS. It is this very culture that we can rely on during times like these.

ZoomIt is inspiring to see how you are preparing to teach online, helping students navigate clinical, school and internship placements, and advocating for flexibilities from our accrediting bodies. You are already preparing to deliver events, such as scholarship banquets, through various online platforms and social media. You are already holding meetings on Zoom–just like the dean's office did this morning.

Most important, you are reassuring our students and supporting your colleagues. I am grateful for your extraordinary efforts.
