NDLS Communicator
Week of 3.20.20
Good afternoon. We hope everyone is safe and well. We are thinking of all of you, especially our faculty members as they began remote teaching to our students today. We are grateful for how our Law School community has risen to the occasion to support each other and our students during this stressful and difficult time.
We are sharing Coronavirus updates and resources below, along with the latest Law School news. We will continue to publish the Communicator on a regular schedule to communicate important updates and to help everyone stay in touch. Stay well everyone!

Law School Coronavirus Resources
The Faculty and Staff portion of the Law School website has been updated to include updates specific to Law School operations and resources and tools for faculty. You will need to use your ND NetID and password to access this section. This page will continue to be updated.
Law School Access
Access to Eck and Biolchini
The University has restricted all academic buildings on campus to card access only. This applies to Eck and Biolchini. Your Irish1Card will still gain you access to the building.
The University has updated our card access, per University standard policy, to require a 4-digit code after swiping your Irish1Card. The default code is the two digit month and two digit day of your birth date (ie. Jan 1 = 0101). You can view and update your Irish1Card 4-digit code by going to this link: https://irish1card.nd.edu/pin/ Note: you must be logged into the VPN or be on the campus network for the link to work properly.
Eck Interior Suites
Interior suite doors are locked during the work day and require card access. Signs are on the suite doors directing you who to contact for access.
Classrooms in Eck
Classrooms will be locked starting today, Monday, March 23 at 5 p.m. This is to ensure our custodial staff are able to properly disinfect these commonly used spaces, and allow faculty the ability to teach uninterrupted from classrooms.
Kresge Law Library
The library will be closed to all students starting this Friday, March 27 at 5 p.m.
Social Distancing
Please continue to practice social distancing. Use phone or email instead of holding in person meetings. If you must meet in person, please keep a distance of 6 ft between each person.
