Greetings to our partners,
I pray you are holding up well in these uncertain times. We understand the temptation to be anxious as many unexpected changes have happened, but I am reminded of Psalm 46:10 that tells us, “Be still and know that I am God.” We have been given an opportunity to be still, and we are praying that the Lord will help us see His hand as He remains in control.
Thankfully, we are able to continue serving our clients. Many of them are under-resourced and feeling the impact of the shutdown in acute ways. We are grateful that the Lord still allows us to care for them. They are still looking for help and hope, and we get to continue to offer it to them. We are taking added safety precautions and consistently checking updates from the news.
In regards to our annual fundraising dinner, we are assessing what our options are moving forward as we seek to comply with safety standards and be sensitive to our donors as well. Nothing has been decided yet, but we will have clearer ideas in the coming days as the Board of Directors considers options. Please pray for us as we trust the Lord for His provision and wisdom.
