Dear Team,
Thank you.
That’s really all that I can say at the moment. The work and dedication that you have put into your store over the last few weeks has been nothing short of heroic. These have been very difficult times. They are difficult for individuals, families, and businesses. It is not an understatement to say that life, as we know it, has changed forever. You will always remember the Great Quarantine of 2020.
I know that there is a lot of anxiety about our jobs. We are planning to stay open for as long as we can. According to the Department of Homeland Security, our business is designated as “essential” which means that we are to stay open to serve the needs of the local community: Click here to see article. It is with our help that our neighbors can re-fuel to drive and check on their families and our local medical professionals and first responders can do their jobs helping others. We can help put food on someone’s table or provide a bit of luxury to make life better. For us to help, we have to be open. Our customers will remember that we were there for them.
But, whatever it is that we are doing, we can’t do it without you. Thank you for what you do and for what you represent.
I want you to know that we have been continuing to work on and update our response plan to protect you and our customers. You will see new measures and protocols being rolled out this week.
