Statement from ISTABA and updates regarding COVID-19:
The Islamic Society of Tampa Bay Area (ISTABA), asks our community to adhere to the advice of the health professionals and the government officials.
ISTABA will keep its doors open to assist all mankind for their emergency needs in these difficult times.
The five daily prayers will be conducted at the Masjid while implementing the recommendations of the health professionals and the government officials to minimize any risk for our staff and assistance seekers.

The premises will undergo another sanitization process today and every week thereafter.
Screening will be conducted prior to entering the property for every ones' safety.
As long as everyone is aware of the recommendations of the health and government officials, ISTABA Management will not close the doors to anyone that wants to come to the House of Allah for assistance or prayer.
Food and financial assistance will be provided to the needy, applications are processed daily.

We encourage Believers to do their part in taking precautions and put your trust in Allah (SWT). Continue to make duas and prayers seeking forgiveness and repenting from sins.

'Uthman bin 'Affan (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "He who recites three times every morning and evening: 'Bismillahil-ladhi la yadurru ma'as-mihi shai'un fil-ardi wa la fis-sama'i, wa Huwas-Sami'ul-'Alim (In the Name of Allah with Whose Name there is protection against every kind of harm in the earth or in the heaven, and He is the All-Hearing and All- Knowing),' nothing will harm him."
[Abu Dawud and At- Tirmidhi].
وعن عثمان بن عفان رضي الله عنه قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: "ما من عبد يقول في صباح كل يوم ومساء كل ليلة: بسم الله الذي لا يضر مع اسمه شيء في الأرض ولا في السماء وهو السميع العليم، ثلاث مرات، إلا لم يضره شيء". رواه أبو داود والترمذي وقال حديث حسن صحيح
