BIKI WILL CONTINUE TO OPERATE
At this time, we have been instructed to continue operations to support the transportation needs of our community. The Biki system is currently operating 24/7 and we are working diligently to ensure bikes are available during this challenging time. We want to share the actions we’re taking to help protect you — and what you can do to stay healthy.
Although the system is available, riders are urged to stay home and only use Biki for essential trips, including:

WHAT WE'RE DOING

Our operations team (Secure Bike Share) deserves a huge shout-out for their hard work to ensure our system remains as accessible, safe and clean as possible. The following protocols have been implemented:
  • We have shifted our focus from rebalancing stations to enhanced sanitation and cleaning of equipment during this emergency.
  • Biki Crew members are performing enhanced cleaning of equipment during all visits to Biki Stops and when bikes are brought into the workshop.
  • Biki Crew members now wear gloves in the field, van, and workshop.
  • Biki vans' are disinfected at the start and end of each service shift.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

If you need to use Biki, we recommend the following safe practices to help prevent the spread of coronavirus:
  • Don't leave home and don't use Biki if you are feeling sick.
  • Wash your hands before and after each ride and consider wearing gloves as a precaution.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth with unwashed hands.
  • Practice social distancing by riding solo and staying 6ft from other riders.
  • Be patient with us! We have shifted resources from rebalancing bikes to cleaning equipment. Plan ahead and download the Biki App to check the bike availability at each station.
BIKI SYSTEM UPDATES
Changes to the system as of Thursday, 3/26

Biki Stop #527, previously located at Kapiolani Community College, was relocated due to sprinkler issues. We apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused, but are really pleased with it's new home at Leahi Beach Park!

Biki Stop #232 (Makaloa & Keeaumoku) was removed to accommodate a HECO utility project. This was a heavily used station due to it's close proximity to Walmart, Sam's Club and other Keeaumoku businesses, so, we plan to move it back after the project concludes. In the meantime, we have expanded nearby Biki Stop #233 (on Kanunu St, outside Ross) to accommodate the Biki traffic.
Biki Stop #527 relocated from KCC to Leahi Beach Park
Look for it on the Biki App
We're taking this time to review Biki Stop locations and identify potential opportunities for expansion or relocations. Our goal is to place stations where they are wanted and needed most, and allow us to provide the best service possible. Please help us by requesting a new station or providing feedback on an existing station.
