Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Healing Generations Mother’s Day brunch originally scheduled for May 9 is cancelled.
Amethyst Place is working hard to provide a safety net to our families as a result of the economic impact of COVID-19, and we need your help. That’s why we’re inviting you to make a significant gift to Amethyst Place between now and Mother’s Day to ensure that we can continue supporting families with services we have always provided as well as meet unanticipated needs that will arise as a result of the pandemic.
Amethyst Place families have very limited resources and the increased economic and emotional stress of COVID-19 is a threat to our mothers' recovery and their overall family well-being. Many of our mothers have already been laid off or had their employment hours greatly reduced. Others cannot work because of school closures. As a result, many will be unable to pay their rent, afford groceries, or meet other basic needs.
We provide safety, stability, routine, and hope to our families. Please help us preserve this crucial environment and reduce financial stressors so that Amethyst Place mothers can focus on supporting their children through this unprecedented crisis.
