Fall Select 2020 Tryouts -
The club has announced our 2020 Fall Select tryouts
May 13th and 14th for U10, U12 and U14 girls and boys. We are now considering offering a U16 age group in 2020. To learn more about our Fall Select program and to register for tryouts, click HERE.

Competitive Program News & Notes:
Competitive team updates:
All teams are being coached via virtual learning and will continue until we're back on the field. Weekly curriculum, video training and fun individual skill development will be managed by each team's respective head coach. Our Director of Coaching and his Age Group Coordinators continue to work hard at building and delivering content and direction. Through our club's affiliation with Surf Nation, we continue to be supported by all of the Surf club's nation wide and are leveraging the online soccer tool, The Coaching Manual for our coaches and teams. One of our many goals in this new training environment is to prepare now and be ready to go once we are allowed to return to the field.
Additional competitive team updates will be sent directly to those teams, team managers and head coaches.

U9-U14 (Youngers) May 3rd, 5th and 6th (call backs as needed)
U15-U19 (Olders) May 11th, 12th and 18th (call backs as needed)

Referee Resources & Education

WCSC Referee and current USSF National Referee, Stephen McGonagle, is now a member of PRO & eligible for assignment as Ass’t Referee to MLS Games! It’s a big step up for Stephen, one of the best young Referees out of the WC Ref Program! Congratulations Stephen, we are proud of you!

To note: WC Surf SC has programs that are locally, regionally and nationally governed. The Laws of the Game, and modified rules, are then applied to various age groups in our recreation and competitive programs. Not all age groups have the exact same Laws of the Game or rule modifications. Check with your Coach or email us if you have questions.
