Live Life Forward
A lot's happened in the world since my last e-newsletter. I hope this message finds you healthy, and it finds you safe.
As you'll hear in the video below (or here), I'm encouraged by all the positive messages I've received, and that I continue to receive, from many of you. I believe it's so important to stay positive in uncertain times.
Around the world, communities are pulling together for the benefit of a greater good. This overarching sense of community is helping all of us manage our current challenges and ideally making us stronger and more resilient.
Here at USANA, I'm proud to see our own community—Associates and Employees—working together toward a common goal, which is to maintain our status as The Healthiest Family on Earth.
During challenging times, I make an extra effort to express gratitude and to be thankful for the blessings in my life. To do that, I first must make sure my thoughts and actions are in alignment.
One book I recently read, Don't Feed the Monkey Mind: How to Stop the Cycle of Anxiety, Fear, and Worry, explains the importance of employing effective strategies to better deal with uncertainties. That's to say, understanding what's within your control and filling your mind with "I choose to..." statements.
For me, I choose to remain positive. I choose to do things that make me happy. I choose to live life forward.
Please Share Your Positivity
And that's my invitation to you: Live life forward. As you encounter positive messages in your daily routines, whether you find them in books or in conversations or in real-life examples, please share them with me on Facebook. I want to continue filling my mind with messages of goodness and hope and positivity.
Below are two quotes that I believe are especially relevant to today's uncertain times.
"Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance, you must keep moving."
— Albert Einstein
"Life can only be understood backwards, but it must be lived forwards."
— Soren Kierkegaard
My hope is that we can all live forward and look to the future.
— Kevin
