READ-A-THON!
MARCH 30 - APRIL 10

  • Let's keep kids reading with our fun Read-a-Thon!  Students log/track their reading time March 30 - April 10th.
  • Register online at www.read-a-thon.com/readers
  • Check your email for your child's individual online sign up code (sent via FreshSchools)
  • At home rewards are encouraged! Sibling or classmate challenge, perhaps?
Donations are appreciated, but not required.  With the cancellation of the Spring DDA Fundraiser, Proctor Terrace would benefit from any fundraising efforts you are comfortable with during these uncertain times, but our priority is to encourage the kids to READ and continue to feel connected to classmates and our incredible Proctor community.

But the Library is closed!  Never fear, we have suggestions!  Audio books, eBooks, grandma reading a story virtually, read aloud (Vooks, Epic) - they all count!  Put books aside to trade with a classmate (put in a paper bag or cardboard box now and have them pick up next week to minimize contamination), newspapers, magazines!

MURAL:  CALL FOR ARTISTS!
Deadline Extended!

Proctor Terrace PTA is the recipient of an exciting City of Santa Rosa Community Improvement Grant. Thank you to Carmen Works for writing the grant! The grant will support a new back-to-school event on August 29 (save the date!), and support the work of one or more artists to work with our community to create a mural on two or more school building walls

Do you know an artist who is good in working with community that would like to partner with us on a mural project?  Artists are invited to apply to work with us in creating the mural and building community at Proctor Terrace. Details are available here. Please forward this to any artists that you think might be interested. Deadline is March 31, 2020. Deadline extended to April 14th

You can direct questions to PTES parent Minona Heaviland via email at minona@gmail.com
