NEW Seniors-Only Hours at Stores!
Starting Monday, March 23, grocery stores and others will hold "Senior Shopping Hours" during the week.
- City Market: Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays from 7AM - 8AM
- Safeway: Tuesdays & Thursdays from 7AM - 9AM
- Gunnison Vitamin & Health Food Store: Monday - Saturday from 8AM - 9AM
- Walmart: Tuesdays from 6AM - 7AM
- Clark's Market in Crested Butte: Every day from 8AM - 9AM
Prescription Pick-ups - NEW from Walmart!
Walmart Pharmacy is now offering curbside pick-up for prescriptions. If you have a prescription ordered there, please confirm that it is ready by calling (970) 641-1145. If it is ready, let them know that you would like to pick up in the parking lot. They will give you instructions for parking and letting them know when you arrive. An employee will come to your car to process your order with a credit card.
You can also request that your prescription be mailed to you, at no extra cost! Please call the pharmacy at (970) 641-1145.
Senior Meals - Delivery or Pick-up (Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays)
To order in advance, leave a message at (970) 641-8272. Leave your name, phone number, what date(s) you would like meals, how many meals, and whether you'd like to pick-up or have delivery.
To order same day service, call (970) 641-2107 before 9AM on the day you would like a meal.
Meals are $4 each. All meals will be billed on a monthly basis.
Menu for this week:
- Monday, March 23: Shepherd's Pie, cucumber salad, rolls, dessert
- Wednesday, March 25: Cheesy Broccoli Soup, biscuits, Jello with fruit, dessert
- Friday, March 27: Lasagna, salad, green beans, garlic bread, dessert
