Covid-19 Update Charta Management Ltd.

Dear Valued Tenants 

As you are probably aware we have now been advised that NZ will be in lockdown within the next 48 hours.  Our staff have been working from home since Monday and are able to do a majority of their work remotely, so we will continue to assist you with rental queries as usual.

What this means for you:
 
RENT
Rents are still due as normal.  Bank statements will be processed daily and rents monitored on a daily basis. 
 
Please contact us as soon as possible if you have any concerns about your ability to pay rent.   Just give me a call directly on 021 608 444 or email me roseanne@charta.co.nz and we can discuss it.
 
MAINTENANCE
Repairs and maintenance. All non-urgent repairs and maintenance will need to be postponed and only emergency repairs such as a burst pipe or electrical issues will be dealt with, all other minor repairs and maintenance such as lawn mowing and pool cleaning will be suspended in accordance with the Government directive.
 
You can still report any repairs and maintenance to us, the best way to do this is by emailing your property manager directly and jobs will be booked in with our tradespeople.
 
WATERCARE
Watercare invoices will continue to be processed and emailed/posted out as usual.
 
INSPECTIONS
All routine inspections will be postponed until after lockdown.
 
This is an ever-changing situation and we will continue to review our operations based on government advice.
