Good afternoon,
I hope you are well. This is clearly a fast-changing situation, with most businesses now on shut down. There are a few retailers still open, offering groceries, take-away services and home deliveries. If you are not a front line business, please stop trading and don't ask your staff to come to work. This virus cannot spread itself, it has to be spread by people, so the quicker we all stay at home the quicker we can start to re-open the town.
While the town is temporarily shut down we are here to help as much as we can. We are:
- Providing regular updates to levy payers on guidance from sector bodies, TWBC, and HM Government.
- Publishing regular social media activity on facebook, twitter and Instagram to promote what is happening, who is open, and who is offering home delivery etc. using of the #TWdelivers
- Offering continuous peer support through the expansion and promotion of our new Whats App group for levy payers, and
- Acting as a point of contact for levy payers seeking advice and guidance.
We have collated a few useful weblinks that may be of interest:
- HM Government has set up a new web page as a 'go to' for all the latest up to date information. Click Here to visit.

The Tunbridge Wells Together team are all now home-based. However, we are still working and can be contacted via 07808 646 758; we are ready to provide as much help and support as we can.
I hope we can share some good news stories with you in the coming weeks too, so if you have uplifting or positive stories about your business or local community please email me and we can share them. Finally, please remember to stay active on your social media channels so your customers can keep up to date with your activities. Please include the tags #twshoplocal and #twdelivers (if you offer home delivery) and we will share them on our sites too. Stay healthy!
