From Pisa to Chongqing: our true friend Prof Weiwei

From December 2006 to November 2007 twelve students from Chongqing University visited Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies to attend the “Master in Robotics and Mechatronics”, held in Pisa. Professor Weiwei, a long-time friend of Italy, was one of them. He has recently been promoted to Full Professor in optoelectronic engineering at Chongqing

University, and we wanted to ask him how his career and his relationship with Italy has evolved after that amazing experience in Pisa.

在2006年和2007年，有12名来自重庆大学的学生来到圣安娜高等研究大学深造，他们攻读了06年12月至07年11月在比萨授课的“机器人和机电一体化”硕士课程。该课程由圣安娜组织，并获得意大利教育部资助，前8个月是传统的课堂及实验室教学，后4个月学生进入有关公司的实验室进行实

ON THE STREETS OF CQ - [PRECIOUS SPRING]

Spring is the season of rebirth “par excellence”. it is particularly so this year in Chongqing, where winter has been special for many reasons, especially in the past two months. In the beautiful pictures of Zhang Qianyu you can see how the city is slowly returning to normal, in this “precious spring”, full of meaning and rediscovers. For a lot of people spring this year brings a new perspective on life, and helps to focus on fewer, meaningful, goals.
