Essential Employee Letter for Farmers
As you are aware, Governor DeWine’s “Stay at Home” executive order went into effect at 11:59 pm last night. The dairy supply chain has been identified as an essential critical infrastructure and as such, employees have a special responsibility in these times to continue operations.

To assist as COVID-19 related movement restrictions are implemented, customize this template for your farm and provide a copy to your employees for use when commuting to work. 
 

COVID-19 Resources for Farmers
ADA Mideast is encouraging all dairy farmers to read the Dairy Farmer Handbook on Coronavirus Prevention and Management. This handbook outlines COVID-19 symptoms, dairy farm workforce preventative measures, employer action steps and answers to frequently asked questions.  

The CDC provides clear guidance about preventing infection in both English and Spanish. It also provides a number of printable factsheets and posters in English and Spanish suitable for use in the workplace.
