Dear patients and families,
Until further notice, all appointments with Dr. Trupti Gokani at Zira Mind and Body Center will be conducted virtually via Zoom. Per Governor Pritzker's Stay-at-Home mandate, we are working from home and doing our part to reduce contact for ourselves and our patients during this time. We have been incorporating virtual visits in our practice over the past year, so we are confident we can provide the same level of care that we always have.
For all appointments during this time, it is especially important that online intake forms be filled out PRIOR to your appointment. As always, those can be accessed by logging into your Patient Fusion account and clicking on "Appointments" or by following the link located in your automated email reminders. We will not be able to conduct the virtual visits without the intake form filled out, so please let us know if you have any issues or questions about this process.
You will receive an email containing the Zoom invitation for your appointment 1 business day prior to the appointment. All you need is a computer with a working camera and an internet connection. You simply click on the link in the email invitation to access the online meeting. If you have any lab work or other paperwork you would like to share with Dr. Gokani, please make sure to send that to us via email at least 1 business day prior to your appointment.
If you are in need of any refills on prescriptions Dr. Gokani will need to have an online visit with you in order to fill those.

Starting next week, Monday 3/30/2020, we will resume normal phone hours while conducting all visits with Dr. Gokani online on Mondays and Tuesdays.
Thank you very much for your understanding during this stressful time. We are grateful to our patients and loved ones for complying with CDC recommendations and keeping a physical distance from the public when possible. We will keep you posted as we decide how to proceed in the coming weeks.
