RMHC & COVID-19
Our communities look very different than they did one week ago. However, the mission of our charity is exactly the same. Children are still hospitalized and receiving medical treatment. Family members still need a place to stay. Many organizations have had to change the way they do business, close their doors or limit their hours of operation.
Topeka’s Ronald McDonald House will continue to operate, providing a place to stay for families whose children are receiving medical treatment. Now more than ever, we rely on the generosity of our community to help us with donations that keep our families taken care of while staying at our House.
Because of COVID-19 we’ve canceled our annual Cookie Hop & Spring Bake Sale fundraiser, which raised close to $3,000 last year. To help make up that difference we are challenging you to make today a “Giving Tuesday.” Please consider making a donation to help us with the expenses of operating the House, groceries and other essentials needed for our families.
We are grateful for any dollar amount you can provide. Your gift helps keep our doors open, allowing families to be together every day of the year.
Thank you for helping us keep families close, especially during this unsettling time.
Sincerely yours,
Mindee Reece
