When this is over, may we never again take for granted:
A handshake from a stranger.
Full shelves at the store.
Conversations with our neighbours.
A crowded theatre.
Friday night out.
The taste of communion.
A routine check-up.
School rush each morning.
Coffee with a friend.
The stadium roaring. Each deep breath.
A boring Tuesday. Life itself.
When this ends, may we find that we have become more like the people we wanted to be, we were called to be, we hoped to be, and may we stay that way, better for each other because of the worst.

Changes to Details of Mortgage Deferrals Urgently Needed
You can make a difference for those in dire need by lobbying your MPP to encourage the government to take action to protect vulnerable property owners with mortgages during the crisis. The six major banks have offered to allow owners to defer mortgage payments for up to six months. However, credit ratings will still be affected. Further, the offer only applies to residential properties. For those with investment real estate, payments will still need to be made even though their tenants are protected from having to make rental payments. There is no guarantee that smaller institutions i.e. credit unions, online lending institutions, etc. will also extend the offer. The Ottawa Peacemobile is looking for new fabric that is 36 to 40 inches long and preferably in a cheerful, bright, colourful, patterned or solid. It will be particularly helpful if the fabric is already cut into 1 inch strips but we will be thrilled to receive whatever is offered to us.
