The DTI Cuba Discipleship Conference has been postponed due to the
Corona Virus
Hard Decision...
We were in much prayer to discern what God was saying, as we researched the internet for information about how the virus was affecting Cuba.
Then we heard directly from our leadership / partners in Cuba, they recommended we postpone because people were concerned about coming to the conference due to the potential lack of adequate hygiene to control the spread of the virus.
This proved to be providential, as Cuba has since limited gatherings.
Donations Will be Used in Future Conferences
Financial donations are being saved to help pay for the next conference. 100% of your donations are used to help the churches in Cuba.
Cuban leadership has already paid for and collected food for the conference. We have instructed them to distribute to the churches for people in need.
The DTI manuals are already printed, and will be given to those who will use them, and any unused ones will be stored for the next conference.
Donations of reading glasses and personal hygiene and medicines are being stored until we can return.
In this time of social distancing, the electronic APP works well with a phone call or various internet video applications.
Don't let the inability to meet in person hinder your spiritual mentoring efforts. Many people have more time now, and this is an opportunity for spiritual mentors to encourage faith and dependency on the Holy Spirit during this crisis.
