MISCANTHUS HARVEST

CRACKING ON

At one of our busiest times of the year, Miscanthus harvest is in full swing, with baling commencing this month. While we are putting measures in place to follow social distancing guidelines, our growers are taking advantage of the great weather to cut and bale their crops.

GOOD MORNING

Growers all over the UK are cutting and baling Miscanthus crops and planting is due to begin very soon. Thank you to our team, our contractors and growers, who are adhering to social distancing guidelines, so that we can all stay safe and harvest the crops.

This month, we've put together a beginners guide to Miscanthus, for those considering planting in spring 2021. Also our chairman, William Craroft-Eley, looks at the role of agriculture in reaching the government's 2050 net zero target.
