Friends of Westdene Green is aware that lots of people in our community are already reaching out and supporting, or wanting to support their neighbours during this challenging time.  

To support Street-by-Street Support collectively, and ensure no one who may want or need this network (now or over the next few weeks) misses out, we have re-established our Street Rep system to keep connected as a wider community.

Even with many people coming forward, some streets are still not covered or have only one Street Rep. We need your help to make sure no one in our community feels alone or unsupported. Please also sign up if you have already set up a group in your street so that we know its covered

Street Reps are local people who are willing to be one of several on their street working as a small team to support their neighbours at a distance with help like a phone call, picking up a prescription, sign-posting to other services, remote help to use WhatsApp, video calling etc. 

We have made a template letter which you can amend, to share contact details and a list of help on offer which will need to be posted by each street rep team to everyone on their street, ensuring no one is missed. We can also provide contact details, safeguarding tips, links to existing groups and online support etc.
