Precious Lord, take our hands and lead us through this wilderness time.

Walk with us as we trudge through this pandemic, especially lead:

  • nurses and medical professionals, including Candy's daughter Jess
  • our government and world leaders
  • all who suffer from the coronavirus. May a cure be found soon!

Lead each of us on to the light of your love.

Walk with those who are suffering in body, mind or spirit, especially:

  • Jill, Sue Randall's sister-in-law, in the hospital with an infected heel
  • Rosemarie's mom who could not fly home to her stepdad with prostrate cancer
  • Hank Frazier, step-grandfather of the Jones’ girls, who is not doing well
  • Delilah grandfather with memory issues and not staying home
  • Joyce Wolk's niece, Karen, fighting cancer

Lead each of us on to the light of your love.

Walk with our neighbors who wrote to the online prayer box:

  • Jamey who is suffering with anxiety, depression, food addiction, a disability, fear, and finances

  • Jamey’s mom and her issues

  • Jolie praying for her family and hopes for safety and stability

Lead them on to the light of your love.

Walk with those who rejoice in hope and thanksgiving, especially:

  • Vicki who is glad her newborn granddaughter is coming home from the NICU
  • all who are able to take advantage of the beautiful spring weather
  • family and friends reaching out in care for one another

Precious Lord, take our hands and lead us through this wilderness time, as you have lead disciples throughout the ages and around the world. Amen.

As you know the trustees started a church clean out back in January. Some very committed volunteers have cleared out lots of junk and organized what we wanted to keep. Brenda is one of those volunteers and she remembered finding in the back room behind the chapel some very valuable supplies Rev. Ted had left.

100 N95 masks, 3 boxes of protective suits, and a large box of safety goggles.

As you have probably heard, there is a great shortage of masks and protective gear in our country as the Coronavirus sweeps the nation.  Years ago Rev. Ted had requested some safety supplies for a Workcamp trip involving mold removal. The United Church of Christ sent an abundance of supplies – and the leftovers sat in the back room behind the chapel, waiting for a time like this.

It must have been the Holy Spirit that got the church clean out going when it did so we would know about the supplies. It must have been the Holy Spirit that Tyler Satalino is involved with the EH Fire Department enough to know who to call so the masks could be put to use immediately.  On Saturday they were delivered to emergency personnel.

What a God-sighting!

Rosemarie Jones shared her God-sighting of the week during worship on Sunday. She was trying to figure out when she would be able to get to the store to buy some lysol wipes and cleaning supplies - but with the responsibility of watching young children in her daycare, she didn't know when she would get to the store. She shared her concern and the parent of one of the children in her care brought her supplies! Thanks be to the angels in our lives!
Let's spread some hope!

Share your God-sighting with Pastor Kelly Jane.
