Dear <<First Name>>,

God is faithful and our constant heavenly Father - even as our lives change week to week. I hope this email encourages you as part of the BAC Christian family.  It has been a big week for me with two funerals and lots of BAC needs. I've been blessed by so many words of encouragement to myself and the BAC staff team. We are working very hard to serve you all in growing in Christ, growing in the Word, growing in prayer and growing in mission!

BAC Wednesday Night Weekly Connect With The Pastors

Tonight at 7pm we will have the first of many "Weekly Connect With The Pastors" live video conference on Zoom. Everyone is invited and anyone any age can join. We will have Q&A and a short devotion and prayer. You can use the Zoom app on your phone/tablet or your computer (https://zoom.us/join). The Zoom code for tonight's meeting is: 973 330 1243
We will also put a link on the top of the BAC Website before the live gathering tonight.
(if you get stuck then phone or message Sam Creek: 0422 940 382)

BAC Community Care Coordinator
I'm delighted that Sarah Creek has agreed to be the BAC "Community Care Coordinator". Please register with her your availability to help others. Also if you need practical help or care during the quarantine, please contact Sarah and she will try to match you with a BAC member who can help.

It will be a wonderful way to glorify Jesus, to serve others in the wider community. Many of you will already be doing this. It will be vital that you take the highest self-care in hygiene and distancing even as you serve. Also if you are feeling unwell please stay home and isolate. If in doubt ask Sarah!

Sarah is also preparing some postcard flyers where you can put your name and number and letterbox drop your housing estate offering help to your neighbours. Let us know if you would like early access to these.

Sarah's contact details are: Mobile: 0448 833 159, email: sarahecreek@gmail.com

BAC Building Availability and Gatherings
Because of new government announcements, we are no longer making the BAC building available for drop in.

I'm sad about this because I have enjoyed praying for people 1-1 (with distance) as they dropped in on Sunday and also during the past week. However it is really important we keep the building closed for the time being.

BAC leaders who have keys will still be able to go into the building if they need access. Please use distancing if you are with others. If in doubt give me a call.

BAC will continue to be available for funerals, and we will comply with whatever Government protocols are current, including last night's announcements.

Also we have to now say that all BAC bible study groups and other groups should not be meeting in person. This applies whether you meet in homes, or at BAC. I am encouraging our Bible study groups to use Zoom or their own preferred app to have prayer meetings or social events online. Our term 2 bible study groups and courses may be entirely online. We actually have some great opportunities to engage together online in new ways via Zoom and we will try to expand the number of special events over time.

Supporting BAC Financially in this Season
For many years we have consistently encouraged electronic giving as the best and most dependable means of expressing your committment to BAC and our mission.

At the moment electronic giving is 61% of our collections. I would love to see this become 90% or higher. You can use your online banking phone app or computer log in to transfer directly to the BAC account. If you need any help with this please reply to this email.

Our BAC bank account details are:
Account Name: Berwick Anglican Church
BSB: 033 609 A/c Number: 250 772
Name the payment: “Giving”.

Thank You For Engaging In Household Worship
We were delighted with all the positive feedback about the BAC digital delivery of household worship resources. We had people from all our Sunday congregations engage. We will keep incrementally improving this week by week. May you be richly blessed as your pray with others and worship God in homes.

This Sunday we will have a guest preacher, our new link missionary Chris Dean. We will also have a special missions spot from Chris and Julie Dean about their pending work with the Church Missionary Society in Timor-Leste.

The kingdom of our Lord Jesus is ever advancing!

In Christ,
