Below are credible sources to city, state, and federal information about COVID-19 and changes in mass transit schedules, enhanced services, and deadline extensions. The websites are updated frequently and recommend residents check back often.

City of Philadelphia 
  • The City of Philadelphia has issued a new Business Activity and Stay at Home Order restricting business activity, personal activity, and congregation in Philadelphia. Get updates about COVID-19 in Philadelphia here
  • The Philadelphia Department of Public Health has activated a 24/7 Greater Philadelphia Coronavirus Helpline. If you have questions about symptoms and risk factors, what to do if you think you may have been exposed, testing resources or recommendations for social distancing, you can contact the helpline at 1-800-722-7112. Click here for more info. 
  • Philly children can receive free meals while schools are closed. Find out more at this link
  • Philadelphia Gas Works (PGW) has set up a webpage CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) AND YOUR PGW SERVICE: WHAT TO KNOW. 
Transportation Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
  • Find out how Pennsylvania is responding to COVID-19 with the PA COVID-19 Guide, and check back for updates to information and resources. You can get a breakdown of which businesses are non-life-sustaining and which are life-sustaining here
  • A new option for voting this year: Pennsylvania voters can request a mail-in ballot without giving a reason such as illness or travel preventing you from voting in person. Follow this link to apply for an absentee or a mail-in ballot this year.
  • The PA Turnpike Commission (PTC) has announced that to keep travelers from interacting with tolling personnel during the COVID-19 pandemic, cash and credit cards will NOT be accepted at any interchange statewide until further notice. Click here for more info
  • If you’re employed in Pennsylvania and unable to work because of COVID-19, you may be eligible for Unemployment or Workers' Compensation benefits. Learn more here
  • PennDOT has issued an announcement about expiration dates for driver licenses, ID cards, vehicle registrations and safety and emission inspections. Details here.
