For the last 18 years, Jay’s family have organised an annual Spinathon as a tribute to Jay, which has raised over £200,000 for Jersey Hospice Care over the years. This year the event, which was on 29th February, raised over £8,000 with 70 people taking part. Jenny Morris, Jay’s mum, said “Alan and I have been running this event for several years as a tribute to our son, who had a strong passion for cycling. The Spinathon is great for getting our community together in unity, to raise money for Jersey Hospice Care. It is so nice to see all the familiar faces once again this year.” The support of Jay’s family and friends is always so overwhelming and very much appreciated.
