A Message from Alison Hartigan
Our April Newsletter arrives at a challenging time for all of us, and I wanted to start by sending you all our best wishes hope that you and your families are not directly affected by the pandemic. At BA Clubs, we have adopted the motto of Keep Well, Keep Safe and Carry On, although clearly, we too have had to make some changes.
I have been delighted with the response from our members, a lot of whom have had their activities temporarily suspended. We have had to Furlough the gym team because the facilities are closed and our management team have taken voluntary pay cuts. Our suppliers have also agreed to reduce costs, so we're doing everything we can to keep going in these difficult times!
In this edition we have some Club news and a selection of special offers from some of our partners. It's the Easter Bank Holiday this weekend, and even if we can't go out, there are still some great online deals available for Members on the Altitude Plus/Perks at Work portal.
For your financial wellbeing we have included news from LFA, our recommended financial advisors, offering a free consultation. Plane Saver are also offering some sensible advice. Please make use of these if you think it might help you. (Visit our website for more details).
Finally, do try and get some exercise - it's a great way of letting off steam and is good for mental wellbeing. There are many great classes on the internet, even specific classes for seniors which I am doing myself and find them really enjoyable.
Keep Well, Keep Safe and Carry On.
Best Wishes for Easter.
Alison
