This Easter long weekend will be looking a little different this year. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the usual Easter long weekend plans of travel, family and friend catch ups and getting out and about is not possible. We've put together some ideas to help make it special for you and your family:

Australian Master Chef contestant Craig from Musical Menus is offering a free live cooking class for kids on Tuesday 14th April at 10am. 

Host a virtual catch up. Houseparty, Zoom, WhatsApp and FaceTime are all great video platforms that allow face to face group chat for some virtual socialising. 

Allow Melbourne Zoo and Zoos Victoria to bring the animals to you. Live stream cameras feature the zoo animals in their enclosures, and even some exotic special guest appearances are shared. 

One for the grandparents, Caribu is a video-calling app that allows you to interactively read children's books, play games and other activities with the grand kids. It's designed to be an engaging experience and an opportunity to participate in a virtual play date. 

For those of us in Melbourne, the forecast for the long weekend is looking less then ideal, so check out P.E with Joe for some fun inside physical activity videos for the kids.
